860 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Laser Sound"

Droid kinda sounds from the lovely polygogo eurorack module. In this case it was processing cv input from an external lfo. Useful for laser sounds, droids, future computers, etc.

File i recorded while at work on a telephone pole. I found a span of the steel cable they string between the poles that hold phone lines or cable lines. But this was just the bare span and nothing touching it. If you hit them with a wrench they make weird laser gun sounds. Recorded with my phone and cleaned up a bit in audacity. Use as you please. I decided to experiment with a metal slinky, with the intention of creating some science-fiction sounds. Here is a string out of what could potentially be used as "laser gun shots". There are a variety of individual shots, and at the latter-half of the clip i attempted to create a cross-fire gun fight. Some editing, including noise reduction may improve what i've done here. *recorded on may 09, 2021 using a sennheiser shotgun mic and a zoom h4n pro (and a shower, of course).

I'm trying to create an intense plasma burst for a project i'm working on, and i found two great sounds from users chipfork (https://freesound. Org/people/chipfork/sounds/73226/) and john129pats (https://freesound. Org/people/john129pats/sounds/147908/). I decided to take the charge from chipfork's and slow it down and the burst from john129pats' and give it a bit more bass and some reverb, resulting in exactly what i need.

This is from a recording session trying to create laser weapon sounds. I just used the same technique as ben burtt used in wall-e (with the slinky and the contact mic). This is unprocessed, no eqs, compression, reverb or anything was added. I used a long piece of curled up aluminum wire which i hung from a tall structure at my house and the main object i used to oscillate the wire was a drum stick. For the recording i used the blue icicle and recorded into reaper. The contact mic is my own creation from a diy i found online (roughly €5 to make). A large energy charging then firing with a persistent explosion that ends with a massive blast. Created using a wide variety recorded sounds (including a washing machine, sliding of rocks in a metal bucket, and various other objects being thrown and collided), mixed and heavily edited in audacity.

A collection of 8 plasma rifle-style single shots, inspired by the plasma rifles you hear in the terminator movies. Each shot is slightly different so there is some variety. I created them by layering single gun shots with other sounds and then running them through a granular synthesizer with some effects.
